Acadia Wildlife Services provides consulting services in wildlife health, epidemiology and ecology and wildlife veterinary services to state and federal agencies, academic researchers and non-profit organizations.
Principal scientist - TRISTAN BURGESS BVSc, PhD
Dr. Burgess is a wildlife veterinarian and epidemiologist. He consults on wildlife health management for state and federal agencies and some of the nation’s finest zoos and aquaria. He has handled and worked with a wide range of captive and free-ranging wildlife from lions and Tasmanian devils to penguins and sea otters. Tristan teaches courses in wildlife health management for zookeepers, wildlife biologists, and veterinarians; field and lab methods for wildlife disease biologists; epidemiological data analysis; and outbreak investigation.
